Privacy Policy
1. Overview
RingHuddle ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our website, call forwarding platform, and related services.
2. Information We Collect
- Account Credentials: Email address and securely salted/hashed passwords for account authentication and service communication.
- Configuration Data: Phone numbers you designate as forwarding destinations, custom ring group names, tier configurations, and scheduling rules.
- Call Detail Records (CDR): When a call is placed to your RingHuddle number, we log metadata including the caller's telephone number (Caller ID), destination forwarded numbers, call timestamp, call duration, and connection status. This metadata is strictly required for billing calculation, fraud prevention, and displaying your dashboard call history.
- Payment Information: All payment transactions are processed directly by our third-party payment gateway, Stripe, Inc. RingHuddle servers never see, collect, or store your credit card numbers, expiration dates, or CVVs. We retain only Stripe customer IDs, subscription status, and payment method tokens provided by Stripe.
3. What We Do NOT Collect (Zero Call Recording)
- No Audio Recording: RingHuddle does not record, tap, listen to, or transcribe any audio content of your phone calls.
- No Call Content Storage: Audio streams are bridged in real time through underlying carrier networks. No voice or audio packets are ever stored on RingHuddle servers.
4. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect solely to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the RingHuddle simultaneous call routing platform;
- Calculate accurate per-minute billing and process subscription renewals;
- Send essential transactional notifications (such as balance alerts, password resets, and verification emails);
- Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues, service reliability, and security incidents;
- Detect and prevent fraud, spam, robocalling, and abuse.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or call data to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
5. Third-Party Service Providers
We partner with trusted infrastructure providers to deliver the Service:
- SignalWire, Inc.: Licensed carrier providing telecommunications connectivity, number provisioning, and real-time audio bridging.
- Stripe, Inc.: PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor handling subscriptions and credit card charges.
- Resend: Transactional email service for delivering account and billing notices.
- PostHog: Product analytics. Receives lifecycle events (account created, ring group created, call completed, balance replenished) identified by a random per-account token, never by your email address, name, or phone numbers. Events are sent from our servers; no analytics script, cookie, or tracker runs in your browser.
Application performance and error telemetry is collected and retained on our own infrastructure. No third-party monitoring or error-tracking provider receives it.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
Analytics events are retained for 12 months and are keyed to a random token; on request we delete both that token's history and the mapping that connects it to your account. Call Detail Records (CDR) and logs are automatically purged after 90 days. You may request the permanent deletion of your account, contact details, and associated ring group configurations at any time by emailing support@ringhuddle.com.
7. California Privacy Disclosures
If you are a California resident, you have the right to request access to the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, and to request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions. We do not sell or share personal information as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).
